Events 2020 -2021
We are no longer arranging and publishing a programme of regular monthly evening events. Groups of members meet socially for coffee mornings, afternoon teas, lunches, and possibly for the occasional evening meal. These will be arranged by email or phone on an ad hoc basis. We also hope to arrange outings to local events at weekends to suit those who are working, as well as visits to events in London with a Scandinavian connection. If you are new to the area and would be interested in meeting local Scandinavians or others with an interest in things Scandinavian, please contact us initially by email so that we can inform you of these events and pass on any information and/or requests for help that we receive in connection with other Scandinavia-related activities resume. We would like to arrange some way of enabling younger Scandinavians coming into the area to meet up. This has proved difficult in the past, because everyone is so busy. If you fall into this category and would like to organise and monitor, say, a Facebook group, we would love to hear from you.
